Because live arm Corida acquires 50% stake in Super! building independent live powerhouse

  • Deal brings four promoters and five independent festivals under Corida Group umbrella

31st October, Paris:- The Corida Group, the live music arm of the Because Group and one of the largest independent promoters in France, today acquired a 50% stake in Super!, one of France’s most creative and dynamic music promoters.The deal, agreed on the eve of Pitchfork Paris, brings that and two other key French festivals – Biarritz en Ete and Cabourg Mon Amour– into Corida Group’s festival portfolio, which includes We Love Green and Peacock Festival, bringing the total to five. Super! is also the executive producer of Red Bull Music Festival and curates Villette Sonique Festival.Corida’s promotion roster, which includes Radiohead, Rammstein, Justice and Christine and the Queens, is likewise boosted by Super!’s, which includes The xx, Bon Iver, Mumford & Sons, Jungle, Nicolas Jaar, Caribou, and Four Tet.Together with the group’s majority stakes in promoters The Talent Boutique (Metronomy, Django Django, London Grammar, Daniel Avery) and PiPôle (Jorja Smith, LCD Sound System, Soulwax), the deal brings four promoters – Corida, Super!, The Talent Boutique and PiPôle – under the Corida Group umbrella.
