Name PR has been partying since it was 1999, building expertise in music business, technology and consumer PR.
The last 20+ years has seen us develop extensive knowledge and links throughout the music industry and worldwide press. Our focus has also sharpened: as well as being leading comms consultants, we aim to be clients’ strategic allies within the global music industry.
We were there. A year before Spotify was released, we helped launch the digital licensing hub for the world’s independent music sector, Merlin. We got stuck into high-level industry campaigning, managing the Face-value European Alliance for Ticketing campaign, which successfully lobbied for Europe’s first law to tackle online ticket touting.
We’ve also helped launch a myriad of products and services. So successfully, in fact, that one of our client’s websites crashed under the weight of 20,000 hits per second. Whoops.
We also specialise in tailoring creative social media campaigns, growing followings and connecting with digital audiences. Previous work includes growing an event's following from 0 to 100,000 across seven months, resulting in a sold out first date.
And we’re not above name-dropping, having worked on campaigns for the likes of Stevie Wonder, Jean-Michel Jarre, David Lynch, and Ninja Tune founders Coldcut.
