Crystal Palace partner with Twickets for face value ticket resale

Twickets 332x33224th August 2017:- Crystal Palace FC has partnered with ticket re-sale service Twickets to enable its season ticket holders the opportunity to resell their seat for individual games they can no longer attend, at face value, to fellow season ticket holders and members.Tickets offered for sale will be sold through the Twickets platform, where they can be purchased safely and securely.Steve Parish, Crystal Palace FC Chairman and recent investor in Twickets said: “Through this partnership we’re actively making a stand against fans being exploited in the secondary market and offering our Season Ticket holders flexibility with their tickets and members a chance to get to games when a season ticket holder can't attend. With Twickets, fans who cannot attend a game can make their tickets available to other Palace fans but only at face value. We want to make sure that club members at Selhurst Park aren’t paying over the odds through unofficial platforms.”Twickets founder, Richard Davies, added: "Becoming the first face value resale platform to represent a Premier League club is a significant and powerful step for Twickets. Building on our experience with QPR, we look forward to working with Crystal Palace to facilitate and oversee a convenient resale option between Palace supporters.”About TwicketsTwickets is a ticketing platform that enables fans and event organisers to trade tickets at face value for sport, gigs, festivals, theatre & arts events. Its mission is to counter secondary sites that price real fans out of attending, as well as harm the event industry.
