She joins Proper from subscription-based online download store, eMusic.com, where she was Head of Label Relations. Prior to this, Sattar worked at Pinnacle Records for six years, account managing digital and physical products online, and working with retailers such as Amazon, Play.com and iTunes.Throughout her various roles, Sattar has formed longstanding, strong relationships with the major digital music services, as well as major and independent labels by way of digital marketing strategy and online retail profile.Working with all formats, Proper’s digital department provides a broad range of multi-territorial digital delivery and marketing services to its label partners. As Head of Digital, Sattar will manage two other team members, focusing on strategy and the growth of the department.
