 Franklin, one of Hertfordshire’s most promising unsigned bands, will headline Forum Hertfordshire’s first 2015 ‘Hatfield Rocks’ nights of live music.With a sound likened to that of Foals, Alt-J and Ben Howard, Franklin have won an army of fans across the web, receive regular exposure on the BBC Three Counties Introducing show and last year were picked to play a coveted Radio 1 Live Lounge session.Joining them on the night will be two of the county’s most promising unsigned bands, specially selected to appear on the bill by the team at BBC Introducing in Beds, Herts & Bucks.Thanks to a shared mission to support the best in unsigned and undiscovered new music, BBC Introducing will also be hosting the night. Gareth Lloyd, presenter of the weekly new music show, will introduce the bands as well as broadcast his regular Saturday night slot live directly from the venue.Fans of discovering unsigned and emerging talent should tune in to BBC Three Counties Radio between 8-9pm to hear the highlights, interviews from all the acts and live recordings from previous Hatfield Rocks events.
